Managing water properly is a challenge, and the bigger your company, the bigger the challenge. Now more than ever businesses are required to demonstrate a commitment to water sustainability.
At Puresep, we have a thorough understanding of the challenges and pressure manufactures face to reduce their water usage and costs. Today’s best practices in water treatment focus on achieving operational efficiencies, energy reduction, environmental impact minimisation and waste-to-energy solutions.
At Puresep, as part of the Envirogen Group, we offer a suite of technologies to treat the dirtiest of water. Cleaned water can then be re-used or safely discharged thus reducing environmental impact and water costs. Where required and for more complex situations, Puresep can integrate a variety of technologies into a comprehensive solution that sits alongside your process manufacturing plant.
Technologies include one of the industry’s leading biological treatment portfolios as well as ion exchange and physical-chemical systems with broad-spectrum applicability and high performance.

On behalf of Jason England the factory manager and the rest of the Senior Management Team can I extend my gratitude to Envirogen in assisting solving our effluent crisis of the last few weeks.
As you know, due to the introduction of new products and cleaning regimes we were falling outside of the norms for pH with regards to the current land spreading disposal route for our trade effluent. Last Tuesday we were presented with an ultimatum by our road tankering company to bring the quality back within specification otherwise the effluent would cease being land spread and would instead be redirected to two sewage treatment plants belonging to Severn Trent, with this coming into effect 48-hrs later.
Without the assistance of Envirogen and knowledge of those people involved in solving the problem by the installation of two emergency and temporary pH correction systems I would of been forced to dispose of our effluent to the two regional sewerage works as mentioned earlier, which would of been a significant on-cost to my business.
Many thanks once again.”
